All tools needed to make the locations and barcodes are on the create page.

Barcode Instructions

You will need to get the barcode numbers for the locations if you are not creating the locations on your phone. There is a built in scanner for mobile devices. You can also use the barcode decoder to get all of the numbers from the locations printed from the laser printer.

Barcode Decoder: This method is faster for large amounts. Print the locations you wish to make on the Laser Printer. Scan it and email it to you. Using the scanner will produce a better quality image and will have a higher chance of success. When you upload it on the barcode decoder, there will be blue boxes around what it will scan. Adjust the sliders so that all of them fit. The default values should be perfect for an 8.5x11 document. When all of the barcodes are surrounded by the blue box click scan. It will show you the results below. This tool works for multi page PDF's and single images. All of the barcodes need to be in the same location on all sheets for this work properly. Once a multi page PDF is uploaded you can click the arrows or use the drop down to move to a different page. Any barcodes highlighted in red did not scan. If any are missing after you scan them you will need to try again using different settings so all the barcodes are in side of the blue boxes or use a different method. From there copy the list and send it to yourself.

Create Location Files

The process for creating the blue locations are the same for the features and small ones except for one difference. The small ones has a toggle button that will add arrows to the top for sections that are difficult to tell apart.

Fill in the Aisle Letter, Number, and Section as needed.
There are 3 different ways to add barcodes.
Bulk: Paste all the barcode numbers needed in order. It will auto populate them on the image.
Single Input: If you need to skip a section and place a barcode out of order this method allows for customizability.
Camera Button Single Input: This method only works on mobile. Pressing the camera icon will open up the scanner where you can scan the location barcode. It will auto populate the value into the box you selected.

The download button does not work on iPhone or iPad. Instead when clicking the download button it will open up the actual image in a preview window that allows you to push and hold to save to photos. Push and hold over any part that is not text; otherwise iOS will try to copy the text instead of saving.

Printing

The files should be printed on 4x6. If you are cutting the small ones with a guillotine, you can use a stack of paint sticks to give you some extra room since the guillotine doesn't adjust small enough for the locations. Make sure that the paint sticks are the same height as the stack of photos so that the machine will firmly hold the photos in place. When I'm adjusting the guillotine, I will look at the cut mark on the orange stick to make sure everything is aligned properly.
I removed the 12x18 for large locations for two reasons. To save costs, and for a better quality print. The 4x6 is much cheaper to print, and it has less of a shine to it so it looks better when the light hits it from different angles. For the 4x6 you just cut where the white line is and line them up together when putting them inside of the plastic holder.
